Sara-Louise Harper BA (Hons) Illustration
Having graduated from Bath School of Art in 1995 I began working as a cartoonist for the advertising market. My work involved the design of decorative typefaces for packaging and the design of cartoons to head advertising campaigns published both here and abroad.
The emphasis of my work soon changed to humorous illustration for magazines and promotional material. I then progressed into the corporate market drawing caricatures at corporate events. I now work mainly in the London area at venues including The Waldorf, The London Metropole, The Hilton, The Landmark, Claridges, The Dorchester, The Natural History Museum, Holme House and the Millennium Dome.
I also work abroad regularly and have been lucky enough to work at venues including The Emirates Golf Club, The Dubai World Cup, The Burjuman Centre, Dubai and the KNIT Conference Centre, Paris.
I also present a short art based television show, 'Art Play'. It is aimed at a pre-school audience and airs twice daily on both the Disney Channel and the new PlayHouse Disney Channel. Some comments that others have made:-
